Both my brother and I were born in Kobe, Japan, where I learned Japanese. I still remember that the kindergarten teachers taking good care of me when I was young.
Mom took us biking all around Kyushou Island and Shikoku Island. I loved how no matter where you were in Japan, the Japanese people were always polite, humble and considerate to others.

Shanghai is our second hometown, where I learned Chinese. I spent six years in elementary school and two years in middle school at the international schools there. That is where I started to learn English. Shanghai is an international metropolis, a place where life is more colorful, with plenty of international fashion and market culture. I met school friends from all over this world such as those from the United States, Spain and Taiwan. In my family, we often got together with grandparents, uncles and aunts. I also had a loyal dog named Hachi.
I participated in Shanghai’s RunAway ’s outdoor club and biked around Taihu Lake, Qiandao Lake and Qinghai Lake. I had my own rock band named The Five and we often participated in public welfare performances. I played tennis and soccer and had a group of good friends from all over the world.

In 2015, my family moved to San Diego, US, where I fine-tuned my English skills. In this beautiful seaside city, I continue to ride on steep mountain roads and flat plateau ranges. I am a tennis player and rugby player. These sports allowed me to quickly integrate into American society. As I began to be more passionate about the environment and animal protection, I founded my own non-profit organization – Bamboo Club Foundation.

I continue to lead my foundation to participate in animal rights activities. I am a delegate of my school Model United Nations team and compete in various off-campus committees. I am the Editor-in-Chief of the school Yearbook, as well as a Football and Rugby Captain.
